Do you really need to spoof your MAC ID?
Well not really. When you have a broadband connection on one laptop, and you want to use the internet with that same connection on other Laptop, you can use MAC spoofing.
When you insert the cable in your other machine and try the dial-up, you will get an error. Because the service provider’s server has your previous MAC address.
If you try to log in from new MAC address, it will show an error.
In this case, you can spoof the previous machine’s MAC address into your new one and use the internet on the new machine.
